Looking back on another fantastic year at All About Books fills us with immense pride and joy! In 2024, we explored more than ever, attending events and conferences to connect with even more amazing early literacy advocates and programs. We exceeded our previous records for books shipped, ensuring that even more children across the country received the gift of reading. Our fantastic warehouse team expanded significantly, boosting our efficiency and enhancing our ability to serve our customers. We also enjoyed collaborating with talented authors, publishers, and literary organizations, enabling us to share unique and exclusive content with our beloved customers. This past spring, we had an incredible opportunity to collaborate with our Reach Out and Read National partners. Together, we embarked on an exciting project to create marketing content to spotlight the remarkable and longstanding relationship we have cultivated over the years. Reach Out and Read CEO Marty Martinez was warmly welcomed as part of this initiative and given an extensive grand tour by our dynamic leadership duo, Chuck and Dan Abate. During this tour, they proudly showcased our innovative warehousing system. In addition to this, they conducted interviews with various members of our dedicated Sales and Marketing Team, who shared their experiences and insights. They also interviewed the President and Founder of All About Books, Tom Abate, who provided a deeper understanding of our mission and values. This year, we traveled to various events and conferences to connect with early literacy advocates. We started at the 2024 SmartStart Conference in North Carolina, then attended the Reach Out and Read Annual Meeting in Illinois. Our journey continued to New York City for the Reach Out and Read National Conference, followed by the Wisconsin Annual Meeting. In California, we participated in the ZERO to THREE Conference and the International Parents As Teachers Conference. These experiences enriched our understanding and commitment to promoting early literacy nationwide.
This year, we've expanded our blog with diverse articles, including book reviews, author interviews, and discussions on early literacy. We've introduced new series on children's literature and educational resources. Our blog is now a hub for book lovers and literacy advocates.
