It's time to look back on another fantastic year at All About Books! 2025 brought big changes, and we’re excited to see their benefits unfold in the coming year and beyond. Our fantastic warehouse team made drastic changes to greatly enhance efficiency and our ability to better serve our customers. We expanded our travel reach more than ever this year, attending events and conferences to connect with inspiring early literacy advocates and programs. We shipped a record number of books, helping ensure even more children across the country received the gift of reading. We also loved continuing our collaborations with talented authors, publishers, and literary organizations, allowing us to share unique and exclusive content with our valued customers. Take a look at this year’s statistics that highlight our growth and achievements:
Last year, we traveled to various events and conferences to connect with early literacy advocates across the continental US and beyond! In March we kicked things off on the west coast at the Reach Out and Read National Conference, then attended the ParentChild+ Conference in Arlington, VA. Our journey continued to Greensboro, NC for the Smart Start Conference, followed by the Reach Out and Read Illinois Meeting in Chicago. In the fall we ventured out to the beautiful, tropical city of San Juan, Puerto Rico for the annual International Parents As Teachers Conference. These experiences enriched our understanding and commitment to promoting early literacy nationwide. To wrap up our 2025 travels, we attended the Reach Out and Read Wisconsin meeting in Madison, followed by the Reach Out and Read National Summit in Washington DC. We are so grateful to have these opportunities each year to connect with our customers in person and align our goals to get more quality books into the hands of children everywhere!
2025 brought lots of growth and new faces to the All About Books team. Our office gained three new employees, and All About Books families welcomed three new happy, healthy babies ready to start exploring and learning with our books! On our sales team, Natalie welcomed her third child, Noah, and Taylor welcomed her first baby, Isla! Sam from our warehouse team welcomed a new baby as well. Early in the year, Donna joined the All About Books team as our Director of Human Resources, and Maeve became the newest addition to the sales team. Later on in the fall, the marketing team expanded and added Hannah as the newest member.
2025 was a very big year for systemic changes at All About Books. In September, our warehouse ceased shipping books for an entire week to undergo a full reconfiguration of all of our inventory racks. We have already seen extensive benefits from this in terms of efficiency of packing and shipping orders, and are so excited to continue that progress this year to bring you more books even faster!
As far as title offerings, hopefully you have been hearing the buzz about our upcoming transition from releasing a yearly Catalog to a Seasonal Feature! We are looking forward to debuting our spring edition in March so that we can showcase new and highlighted titles more frequently throughout the year. We are so proud of our book variety and promise to keep that coming!
This year, we continued to expand our blog with diverse articles, including book reviews, author interviews, and discussions on early literacy. We've introduced new series on children's literature and educational resources. We are proud that our blog continues to be a hub for book lovers and literacy advocates to learn from and share information. Here were the Top Blog Posts from 2025:
